Although kills can earn you Battle Points, there's no reason to go for kills rather than the objective. Strength in numbers is the general rule of Galactic Assault, and you stand a far better chance of winning if you stay near your teammates throughout the battle. If you have to defend a point, head towards the point immediately. Remember to play the objective! You'll get your orders as soon as the game starts, so make sure to structure your play accordingly. 
Before the game, make sure to equip any Star Cards you have by hovering over the class you wish to pick, and pressing X/Square. We'll outline the finer details of the Galactic Assault mode further down, but for now we'll give you some general tips and tricks for the mode, in order to help you get to grips with playing it as quickly as possible. As we mentioned above, Galactic Assault is made up of two teams of 20 players each, so you can immediately imagine that this is the largest mode available in Star Wars Battlefront 2.
